Single Market Programme
The European Union's Single Market Programme is a €4.2 billion financial support programme with a 7-year duration (from 2021 to 2027).
Objective of the Programme
The programme provides an opportunity to strengthen and increase the transparency of the Single Market and ensure that it develops its potential to create jobs, coordinate measures and reduce administrative barriers, focus on the economic recovery of industrial ecosystems, and help the Single Market to reach its full potential and ensure Europe's recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Agreement provides for Ukraine's accession to the Programme's components aimed at:
1. Strengthening the competitiveness and resilience of small and medium-sized enterprises
Enables the provision of various forms of business support. Among other things, this component includes participation in the European Enterprise Network (EEN), Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs (EYE), joint cluster initiatives
2. Creation and dissemination of high quality European statistics
Allows Ukraine to participate in an extended partnership between Eurostat, the EU Statistical Office, national statistical institutes and other national statistical authorities aimed at developing new European statistics using multiple data sources, advanced data analysis, smart systems and digital technologies
