The EU-funded Project “EU4Business: SME Policies and Institutions Support in Ukraine” (SMEPIS)” is aimed at ensuring sustainable and equitable wartime/post-war economic recovery of Ukraine through streamlined SME-friendly policy and regulatory frameworks and more resilient business support ecosystems.

The SMEPIS Project is looking for a qualified Junior graphic designer, who is expected to be intensively engaged (full day) with the State Institution “Entrepreneurship and Export Promotion Office” until mid-July 2025. 

 

The expert is required to carry out the following activities:

• Creating the visuals for social networks of the State Institution “Entrepreneurship and Export Promotion Office” (EEPO) and the Diia.Business project
• Preparing graphic templates and ensuring their adjustment tothe existing EEPO and Diia.Business design system
• Preparing designs for presentations
• Ensuring identity for EEPO and Diia.Business projects
• Preparing creatives for advertising the services of the EEPO and the Diia.Business project
• Development design layouts for printing materials for offline events (catalogues, booklets, leaflets, etc.)
• Developing and ensuring visualisation of exhibition stands
• Selecting, retouching and framing photo materials
• Contributing to other tasks associated with external communication campaigns by the EEPO as needed
• Participating in the EEPO’s strategy sessions, team meetings and training as needed

 

Qualifications and skills

• Degree in design, communication, journalism, international relations, public service or another related field
• Fluency in Ukrainian and English, PC literacy in Figma, Adobe (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), Microsoft PowerPoint
• At least two years of professional experience, including design, marketing and communication; Experience in creating designs for exhibition events is an asset;
• Experience in developing materials for large-format printing (layouts for exhibition stands)
• Knowledge of pre-press preparation
• Understanding the principles of composition, colour, typography and working with a design system
• Knowledge and feeling of design trends
• Basic knowledge of motion design is an asset
• Experience in working with government bodies is an asset; Experience in export promotion practice is an asset
